2 DAYS OF THUNDER
Will Angus and his co-driver Emily Caccaviello be able to circle Queensland Raceway approximately 96 times during the night? A 300KM Enduro, including pit stops and driver changes, awaited them along with 2x30min races and a fun-filled practice day.
The first day saw Emily hop into the driver’s seat for the first 30-minute race and demonstrate a strong pace to maintain P3 in class. Leading into the enduro, it truly was a fight in the night with smooth driver changes and hard racing under lights, which showed consistent pace and the ability to bring the car back to P3 in class.
The final day meant it was Angus’ turn to do his 30-minute sprint race, which was a constant battle for the whole 30 minutes, only overtaking the next up in class on the final lap. That race was filled with determination and causing everyone to be on the edge of their seats. Overall, the weekend was a success, filled with new experiences, learning opportunities and many sarcastic comments.
