Formula Ford round 1

A new year and another new season. First race weekend of the year being in a Formula Ford car with new competition and driving style. The new weekend layout meant everything was over two days, meaning constant learning and changing around the clock. We were very grateful to have Cam Mcleod join us for some extra coaching and support throughout the weekend which gave us a much bigger insight into the world of open wheelers.

The weekend in the new category was amazing! After qualifying in Pole Position, Angus was over the mood with the first ever top spot! Lots of learning from the morning and pushing to the limits, plus help from Dad, Cam and Archie meant this was possible. Following on from that I had many good battles on track, including one race in the wet which was a cool experience. Angus managed to bring it home and win every race which was an incredible achievement across the weekend! Super keen to see what we can do in the next one.
