TOYOTA 86 SCHOLARSHIP SERIES

Angus switched up his Excel this weekend for the first-ever racing debut in the new Toyota 86. Rocking number 21 over 17 for this round, Angus was keen to get back out on track with a new car, a new field of drivers and a new team.

As the weekend progressed, Angus learnt a lot about the car and the mass 41 field of drivers on the track of Queensland Raceway. Qualifying P26, only 0.6 seconds away from pole, the pace and the determination were there. Race one saw Angus unfortunately caught up in some carnage, but he showed some great pace. The rest of the weekend was fairly clean, showing some good pace for the first time in the car and series, whilst having some great battles with other drivers.
